If you were to centre a pair of compasses on the Mas des Grand'Terres and draw a circle around us, you would encircle an area full of incredible history, natural beauty, vibrant tradition and gastronomic culture.

The towns and cities of Avignon, St-Rémy-de-Provence, Arles, Nîmes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Orange are all within an hour's drive. Marseille and Aix-en-Provence are about an hour from us.

The Greeks and then the Romans left their marks in St-Rémy, Arles, Nîmes, Orange and at the stunning Pont-du-Gard aqueduct. The Popes left the Vatican for Avignon during the fourteenth century. Troubadours and resistance fighters walked the lanes. Artists such as Gauguin, van Gogh and Cézanne were all inspired here.

Our region is famed for its wines, its olives and olive oils, its goats' cheese and its fresh produce. All to be found in its markets and restaurants.

Our local summer festivals of pageantry, horsemanship and bull running are not to be missed!

And the beauty of the villages and scenery of the Luberon and the Alpilles, Mont Ventoux and the lavender fields, the Camargue and the Mediterranean are all world renowned.
